A CAT OF NINE TALES Cover Sneak-Peek

Artist Bob Freeman has delivered a look at the finished cover for Rookhaven Publishing’s forthcoming anthology, A Cat of Nine Tales, which will be hitting the shelves, virtual or otherwise, sometime next month. Image below the cut.

My story, “An Ounce of Prevention”, sees the Royal Occultist, Charles St. Cyprian and his assistant, Ebe Gallowglass, do battle with an avian entity of the Pictish persuasion in 1920s rural Cornwall. Check out the full TOC here.

  I ran across the submission call on Bob Freeman’s blog and figured, ‘Hey, I’ve got an occult detective, may as well submit.’ It’s a pretty fantastic TOC though, my contribution aside. Sort of like a ‘Who’s Who’ of occult detection…
